"Like Crazy," the intense drama focusing on a cross-Atlantic couple directed by Drake Doremus and starring Anton Yelchin and Felicity Jones, took home the Grand Jury Prize for U.S. Dramatic Film at the closing awards ceremony at this year's Sundance Film Festival. Jones also won a Special Jury Prize in the dramatic category for her performance.
The movie was picked up by Paramount and Indian Paintbrush during the festival and is slated for national release sometime later this year. The ceremony was hosted by Sundance alum Tim Blake Nelson, who came out dressed like a snowflake and leading Vera Farmiga, whose own film premiered at the festival, to christen him Tim "Flake" Nelson.
Other films that won multiple awards included “Another Earth,” “Tyrannosaur,” and "Hell and Back." "Another Earth," written and directed by Mike Cahill, also picked up the Alfred P. Sloan Feature Film Prize. Cahill took home the $20,000 award that went along with it.
